Dear Campers and Parents, 

 

We are thrilled to have each of you join us for what promises to be an exciting and unforgettable summer adventure. Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, we are committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where lifelong memories are made. 

 

As the first day of camp is right around the corner here are some important reminders:

 

The First day of camp is Monday July 6th, and the last day is August 14th. The last day of camp is a half day, pick up will be at 12:15. Drop off every day is 9:30am and pick up is at  2:45 – 3:00 pm.  Please do not drop off early unless you are utilizing our extended day program.   If you are interested in using our extended day program in the morning or afternoon please feel free to stop into the office on the first day to discuss with our Directors.

 

As you enter the parking lot to leave off your camper on the first morning please look for any staff member in a purple shirt should you need any help or direction. They will be holding signs directing you to your camper’s area, which was assigned by the grade they just completed.  Parents must bring their child to their areas to check in with the counselors.  Parents must check their child out with their counselor at the end of the day.  Please do not wave to your child from the parking lot to meet you at the car. 

 

On the first day your camper will receive their YAC shirts, along with the camp calendar, and field trip forms. Please return field trip permission slips into the park office by the due date stated on the slip, otherwise your child can not attend.  Field trips will sell out this year so please get your permission slips in early to secure a spot for your camper.  We will not be able accept slips after the due by date.   Do not give permission slips to counselors they must be turned in to the office and exact change is always preferred. Campers must wear their orange YAC shirts on trip days.  It is imperative your camper is here by 9:30 on trip days as busses leave promptly at 9:45 am.

 

Look to the main page of our website smithsclovepark.org for any additional information and reminders about field trips or camp closures due to weather.  Should we need to close camp due to weather it will be announced on the website by 8:30 am.  If we need to close camp while camp is in session, campers should be picked up ASAP and extended day will be canceled that day.

 

You may see a member of Kay and Kay catering at the park office if you have any questions about the snack bar and your camper’s account on Monday Morning.  You can go to camplunch.beclutch.club to set up an account with the Kay and Kay for your camper. 

 

Please bring plenty of water in plastic bottles.  We do not allow metal or glass water bottles.
