Park Programs

General Program Information
  • Many of our programs are limited to Town and Village of Monroe residents.
  • Proof of residency will be required during registration (a resident is defined as someone who is registered to vote and pays taxes to Monroe)
  • All fees must be paid at the time of registration.
  • Each participant must be registered before the start of the program in order to participate.
  • Refunds are only available if programs are cancelled.
  • Programs can be canceled due to insufficient sign-up or poor weather.
  • Participants are responsible for attending the program scheduled; you will not be notified about the program.
  • Dates, fees, and locations are subject to change.
  • Some programs are limited to the number of participants allowed; first-come, first-served.

Youth Advisory Board Smith’s Clove Park Youth Advisory Board The Monroe Joint Park and Recreation Commission is looking for Volunteers between the ages of 14 and 18 to serve on a Youth Advisory Board to help set up and run a year round Activity Room at Smith’s Clove Park. Candidates should be willing to attend a minimum of 1 meeting a month and be Park residents. Summer Fishing Clinic Geared for Kids ages (6-12), but all welcome, for 6 weeks starting July 9 to August 13 Every Saturday Morning 9-10:30am, in Crane Park across from Shortline Bus Terminal. We supply the fishing poles, the bait and instruction. Learn a relaxing, inexpensive sport for life. No charge. Parents stay. Applications Available Under “Forms and Publications” or the Park Office. Summer Baseball Camp Smith’s Clove Park will be running a Baseball Camps this Summer. August 22th thru the 25th Monday thru Thursday 9-2pm. Ages 7-12 Baseball fundamentals and skills taught by former professional and collegiate players”. Camp starts with warm-ups, 5 station rotations, lunch, pick a position and a game.
